CricHeroes scores the match. What runs your ground?

CricHeroes scores matches. Yuvo for Venues, in beta, gives ground owners bookings, a schedule, invoices and regulars, so the two do different jobs.

CricHeroes scores the match. Your ground runs on everything around it. Yuvo for Venues, in beta, is software for the ground owner, with a public booking page, a request inbox, a weekly schedule, GST invoice PDFs, a regulars list with consent controls and a QR standee for the counter.

What does a scoring app do for a ground owner?

CricHeroes describes itself as a free cricket scoring app with league management, for scoring matches ball by ball and managing teams and fixtures. That is its own public description, read on 25 October 2026.

Yuvo does not score cricket matches. The two jobs sit at different ends of a match day. Scoring records what happens on the field. Running a ground means taking bookings, keeping the calendar straight, getting paid and knowing who is coming back.

If your question is which app handles a delivery or a run total, that is not what Yuvo for Venues is for. It is built for the person who owns the turf and has to fill it.

What does a ground need besides scoring?

Bookings, a calendar, billing and regulars. Without them, bookings tend to sit in phone messages and payments in a notebook.

Yuvo for Venues covers those parts. A booking request inbox with a confirm-by deadline and one-tap confirm or decline means a request does not sit unanswered. Blocking a slot, changing its price or recording a cash walk-in happens in one flow, and a walk-in lands in the same ledger as a web booking.

GST invoice PDFs cover the money you took. A customers section lists your regulars and carries consent controls, so you know who comes back and who has asked not to be contacted.

How do a booking page and a schedule work together?

A captain finds your booking page and requests or books a slot with a team name and a WhatsApp number. There is no login and no app to install on their side. The page lists open slots with the date, time, slot name, pitch and price.

On your side, the request lands in your inbox with a confirm-by deadline, and you confirm with one tap or decline. The weekly schedule and calendar show what is booked and what is open.

The QR standee at the counter gives walk-ins a way to reach the same page on their own phone. It comes as a printable A5 card or a roll-up banner, with your venue name, sports and facilities on it. A venue profile holds your photos, hours and amenities, so the page a captain opens looks like your ground.

Where do tournaments and fixtures fit?

Yuvo for Venues gives a tournament organiser a rulebook. You paste the rules and get a rulebook page, a PDF and a poster with a register button.

For fixtures there is a separate free tool. The Yuvo Cricket Tournament Fixture Maker needs no sign up and draws a fixtures poster for a knockout, a league, or two groups with semi finals. The Yuvo Slots Available Poster Maker is also free with no sign up, and it builds a poster of your open slots across ten sports and up to five slots, ready to share to WhatsApp.

Both tools make pictures. They are a quick way to announce a tournament or fill a few slots without opening a design app.

How do you use scoring and venue software together?

They do different jobs, so you can use both. CricHeroes handles the match, ball by ball, with teams and fixtures. Yuvo for Venues handles the ground, with the request inbox, the schedule, the price on a slot, the invoice and the regulars.

A sensible first step is to set up the booking page and share its link in the groups your captains already use. An organiser can build a fixtures poster with the free fixture maker and share it, while bookings for the venues come in through each public booking page. The regulars list builds up as captains come back, and consent controls keep it to people who are happy to hear from you.

If you run a ground, start with Yuvo for Venues (opens in a new tab), which is in beta. If you are organising a tournament, try the Yuvo Cricket Tournament Fixture Maker (opens in a new tab) or the Yuvo Slots Available Poster Maker (opens in a new tab).
